What is NICDC?
Net International Community Development Corporation (NICDC) is a 501(c)(3) organization formed in 2001 located in Summerville, South Carolina. The NICDC Board of Directors represent the faith-based, education, non-profit, and business communities in the Tricounty. It’s constituency comprises a broadly distributed representation of socioeconomic groups.
What Do We Do?
Through a consortium of members of the church, local businesses, and school communities, NICDC implemented Net Dream Catchers After-school Program and Summer Camp to supply the community with a research-based, lower-cost, arts-infused after-school program that engages both family and community in the learning experiences of enrolled children
NICDC implements need-based programs and services to include community sports, supplemental education services, community arts enrichment programs, and service learning experiences. In addition to its history of providing professional, best practices homework assistance to K12 students, the organization has conducted community basketball
tournaments and organized family-involvement initiatives such as our 2006 and 2007, Family Fun Day. Further, we have provided professional counseling services to youth and adult members of our community.
